Madame Tussauds Museum, Sentosa, Singapore- Photos and details
-->

Madame Tussauds Museum Sentosa , Singapore is the first Madame Tussauds museum I have seen. There was one near times square, NY but I didn’t have time to go inside (30 USD + was the ticket).

The Singapore edition focuses on many regional celebrities, from China, India etc along with a few very popular international celebrities. As pictures speak much better than words, below are my clicks from Madame Tussauds, Singapore.

Statues inside Madam Tussauds, Singapore are broadly categorized under History & leaders, Film, A List Party, Music, Boat and Behind the scenes.

I don’t fancy clicking my picture next to celebrities (or their wax statues), but if I don’t then the whole purpose of having such a museum and visiting it gets defeated. Got myself clicked with few of the wax statues, including POTUS (President of the United States), Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit, Mahatma Gandhi, Mr Big B, Arnold etc. Hrish and Nivedith were better at it, posing with every statue with corresponding costumes, pose etc.

Koi Mil Gaya as a movie got a place in Singapore branch of Madame Tussauds, among all Bollywood movies. Hritik Roshan and Jaadoo get a spot, no Pretiy Zinta though.

Adjacent to Madame Tussauds, there is another show called the Spirit of Singapore. No photo/videography allowed inside. Here visitors are taken through a live experience of how trade used to work in Singapore, starting from 1912 Singapore Harbor Office, how port offices look like, how key businessmen set up their business, how British took over, cinema and television during the war times and finally how Modern Singapore has come into existence. This part was very nice experience. Staff perform live enactments and there’re physical stuff replicating the story line, so a walk inside is highly recommended.
End of the Spirit of Singapore tour, visitors can take a boat ride that leads into Madame Tussauds museum, after showcasing replicas of key attractions such as supertrees, merlion, Marina Bay Sands, Mariamman temple etc

Visitors are let in at regular intervals (as each show starts once in 20-30 minutes I guess) and this Spirit of Singapore show closes before Madame Tussauds- so we were asked to check it out first and then come inside Madame Tussauds.
