Ritalin Increases Risk of Sudden Death by 500 percent Among Children & Teens
-->

According to a recent study funded by the FDA and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), children and teens taking stimulant drugs such as Ritalin to treat ADD and ADHD are 500 percent more likely to suffer sudden, unexplained death as children who are not taking these drugs. In addition, these drugs impair brain development, are toxic to the liver and stunt physical growth.

Are we a Ritalin deficient society??? I think not!

Tips to Reduce Symptoms of ADD and ADHD:

  • Avoid all gluten, sugar and dairy products (instead opt for raw milk, goat milk or unsweetened almond milk).
  • Consume a diet of whole foods, preferably organic including lean protein sources, vegetables, legumes, fruits, nuts and seeds.
  • Daily sunlight (20-30 minutes without sunscreen).
  • Eliminate all artificial sweeteners, chemicals, food dyes, etc. This means reading ingredient labels.
  • Increase intake of essential fatty acids and supplement with omega-3 fish oil. Consider zinc and magnesium.
  • Replace soda, pasteurized milk and sugar-laden fruit juices with water.

FOOD IS A DRUG!
