If you're arriving by air, you'll most likely be flying into Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Located just 25 minutes (approximately 11 miles) from Downtown Vancouver, YVR is consistently rated one of the best airports in North America. There are more than a dozen international flights in and out of YVR every day, with 22 bound for the United States.

• Canada Line - From Vancouver International Airport you have the possibility of taking the Canada Line. This is Vancouver’s rapid transit rail link connecting YVR to Downtown Vancouver in 25 minutes.
  The Canada Line runs every 7 minutes during peak hours and every 15 minutes during off-peak hours. They operate from approximately 05:00 to 01:00. The closest station to the Vancouver Convention Centre is Waterfront.You can pay your fare at the ticket machines located at the stations. Fares are determined by the number of zones you travel through and the time of day.




• Taxi - Travel time is between 20 and 45 minutes depending on traffic. Metered taxis, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, are available at taxi stands located on Level 2 of the Domestic and International arrivals area.A trip to the city center/downtown area will amount to approximately $35, including tax but excluding gratuity.  Taxis also accept credit cards.

• Public transport - The Vancouver transit system, TransLink, is made up of a network of buses and unique services such as the SeaBus and SkyTrain.
