1.Keep your skin hydrated by adopting water therapy. The body is made of 60% water, many do not drink enough water to keep the body hydrated, making their skin look pale. Water therapy will also help to detoxify your body because the skin is a representation of what is happening inside your body. For you to get a flawless skin you most always keep the body hydrated by following water therapy.
Water therapy is all about drinking at least 1.5 liters of clean normal temperature water first thing upon rising in the morning, then once it is around 1 to 2 pm drink about 7.5cl of water and later on around 5 to 6 pm drink another 7.5cl of water and lastly drink close to 7.5cl of water before going to bed. This will give your skin the needed moisture for glowing and nourishment.

- Dry skin: this kind of skin have little or no oil deposits with small pores on your face. They are signs of dead skin cells and the skin is often stretchy and sometimes scaly after cleaning your face with a hanky or tissue. This kind of skin needs more moisturizing.
- Combination: this kind of skin is a mixture of both oily and dry skin. Here your nasal skin area is oily while your chin and forehead is dry. This kind of skin needs a good moisturizer to keep the keep the oil production balanced and moisturize the dry areas.
Visit a dermatologist to determine your skin type and recommend skin care product for you. In using skin care products make sure that they are good for your skin and from the same brand especially your soap and moisturizer.
3.Stick to one skin care products for at least 3months: do not make the mistake of expecting fast results from your skin care product because the healing process takes a period of at least 3 months. Use a skin care product for at least 3months before changing it unless it is causing adverse reactions on your skin.
4.Shower at least twice a day: make sure you bath at least twice a day, this will help to remove dirt from your skin layer, aid exfoliation and remove bacteria. Form the habit of taking your bath in the morning and at night. Use warm water to take your bath not hot water, do not make the mistake of using hot water in taking your bath this will only help in drying your skin. After shower dry your body with a clean towel to avoid transfer of bacteria from your towel to your skin.
5.While bathing do not scrub your face: many people make this mistake, they scrub their face hard thinking they are scrubbing away dirt and acne not knowing that they are damaging their skin layer by opening up pores which makes the skin to look rough. This can lead to pimples and acne. Make use of a soft bath sponge and do not scrub your face while bathing.
6.Eat healthy diet made up of more of fruits and vegetables: the skin needs vitamins, antioxidants and omega3 acid to stay in shape, fruits and vegetables give us a majority of vitamins and antioxidants. Like carrot, orange, tomato, apple, spinach, cucumber, potato, cabbage, spinach papaya, lemon, broccoli, strawberry and other healthy foods such as egg, fish and liver. All these foods should be taken for proper nourishment of the skin.
7.Avoid unhealthy food: avoid food high in sugar, junk food, fries and greasy food because they are unhealthy to your skin and its reaction can lead to growth of pimples and acne.
8.Avoid touching your face: there are many bacteria’s in your hands so when we touch your face you transfer these bacteria to your face, this can lead to acne and pimples. So avoid touching your pimples and other blemishes on your face. Your phones can also transfer bacteria to your face, always wipe your phone with disinfectant soaked hand towel.
9.Avoid exposure to sunlight: the importance of avoiding too much exposure of your skin to sunlight can’t be overemphasized. Too much exposure to sunlight will cause sunburn, damage to your skin pigmentation and increase risk of skin cancer. Uses creams with sunscreen, put on shades, cap or hat and wear covering clothing when stepping out of the sun.
10Exercise regularly: exercise will help in eliminating skin toxins through sweating; exercise also helps to increase blood circulation thereby sending more oxygen to your skin cells.
11.Get enough sleep and rest: getting 8 hours of sleep every day will make your skin look younger and healthy. Research has shown that people who do not get enough sleep suffer sleep related pimples and acne. A long sleep is one of the secrets to a healthy skin. Watch the stress building on your body, take a nice time out to rest and relax because accumulation of stress on your body can lead to wrinkles.
