30 Healthy Snacks…..Fat Loss Revolution style
Below you’ll find 30 “Paula-approved” snacks or mini meals (Fat Loss Revolution style) guaranteed to stabilize blood sugar, optimize hormones, boost energy, fuel your brain, reduce sugar cravings, and satisfy any sweet-tooth. Kids will love these too! Many of these snacks or mini-meals are easy-to-pack, quick-to-make, and perfect for when you’re traveling.
- Chicken or turkey luncheon meat with hot mustard wrapped around 2 stalks of steamed asparagus or baby broccoli and a slice of avocado or grass-fed, raw cheese (make sure the lunch meat does not contain carageenan or fructose)
- Two handfuls of macadamia nuts with crystal ginger pieces
- Chocolate Vital Whey Protein Powder or Mediclear SGS Chocolate blended with 1/2 cup carrageenan-free coconut milk plus 1 cup water, 1/2 cup frozen organic raspberries, one tablespoon raw, organic cacao nibs and ice
- One half avocado with freshly squeezed lemon juice and sea salt
- Wild-caught sardines with the bones: excellent source of omega-3, protein and calcium
- Roasted cauliflower (olive oil, Celtic sea salt, paprika)
- My #1 favorite go to if I have a sweet tooth: frozen raspberries in a coffee mug with organic heavy cream and raw cacao nibs
- My #2 sweet tooth fav: Chia Pod (love the vanilla bean flavor)
- Organic chicken breast, sliced avocado & pomegranate seeds rolled up in a chard leaf or collard green leaf with a potent cup of green tea or yerba mate tea
- Truffle Roasted Walnuts (walnuts dusted with dark cocoa)
- Bison, beef or salmon jerky
- Cocoa Mocha Smoothie: Chocolate Vital Whey protein or Mediclear SGS Chocolate plus one tsp. cocoa or raw cacao nibs, 1/2 packet organic SweetLeaf Stevia, one cup strong organic coffee, water, small amount of heavy organic cream and ice blended in Vitamix
- 6-8 selenium-rich Brazil nuts with 1 oz. dark chocolate
- Olive oil-based cilantro jalapeno hummus with sliced cucumbers
- Grass-fed, organic, full fat cottage cheese with pineapple chunks and macadamia nuts
- Green apple, chopped & mixed with pecans or walnuts, cinnamon and splash of raw apple cider vinegar
- Green smoothie blended in Vitamix or high-powered blender – Start my day with this…so yummy and nourishing!
- Green apple with macadamia butter or peanut-free Nuttzo butter
- GMO-free, gluten-free Mary’s Gone Crackers with avocado or almond butter (stir chia seeds or freshly ground flaxseed into almond butter for extra fiber and healthy fat)
- Piece of 70% dark chocolate dipped in coconut oil & shredded coconut
- Vital Whey Vanilla Protein powder or one of these Vegetarian Alternatives to Whey Protein plus a scoop of greens powder, water and a small amount of unsweetened, carrageenan-free almond or coconut milk
- Hardboiled eggs (if you’re not sensitive to eggs) or avocado deviled eggs topped with bacon
- Celery with raw cashew or almond butter or peanut-free Nuttzo
- Potent cup of tea (green tea, white tea or Yerba Mate Royale) hot or iced
- Blueberries with handful of pecans
- Small bison burger with sliced avocado and pico de gallo
- Homemade kale chips, SeaSnax or Alive or Radiant Veggie Crunch
- Full fat organic, grass-fed yogurt or kefir only (NO non-fat or low-fat) with a scoop of vanilla Vital Whey, 2 TB. coconut flakes and sprinkle of ginger and cinnamon
- Chicken apple sausage (nitrate-free) wrapped in coconut flour pancake
- Bacon wrapped dates
