Do you Drink Tea? Pass on adding lemon
I attended the 18th Annual IAACN (International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionist) Scientific Symposium, a four day conference. Brilliant researchers and physicians presenting cutting edge information. The focus of this years conference is “The Effect of Gastrointestinal Integrity on Total Body Health & Well Being.”
One of my favorite speakers was Mitchell Ghen, D.O., Ph.D., a pioneer of stem cell research and president of the American Academy of Anti-Aging medicine, whose topic was “Understanding Life One Cell at a Time; The Pathway to Regenerative Medicine.”
A silver bullet he shared during his lecture: “Do not add lemon to your tea. The citric acid from the lemon activates the aluminum from the tea which crosses the blood brain barrier.”
