DEFINITION OF BIOLOGY

The world "biology" is derived from Greek word "bios and logy". Bios means life and logy means study. So, the study of living organisms is called biology. So, we define Biology as follows:

The study of living organisms, divided into many specialized fields that cover their morphology, physiology, anatomy, behaviour, origin, and distribution.
